What do you suppose lies in the past? Klik products didn't reach the same level that those old SNES could possibly reach. Heck, we didn't even have the potential to go further, without networking and all.

K&p made a lot of things harder. No debugging, a less colorful expression editor. Not having highlighted brackets alone takes me a lot of time.

So what was before it? Binary code? Circy code? 64k ram, cartridges, 2 button mouses? Or did most of you supported Vector Graphics? I dunno, I think Vector Graphics' sorta reached its limits. No need to handle pixels, but there's still the bother of making different graph ecuations for characters with different colored shirts.. shadows, maps, etc.

Didnt Klik N Play not even have scrolling levels? if you wanted to make a platformer you had to make all your platforms active objects and make them move while your character stayed in the same place .

I remember when i first got TGF, i made a ton of games (still got a lot of them) that had loads of bugs i couldnt solve. I didnt understand anything about the active object limit, and one game had a city driving level where every building was active, eventually i ran out of them so had to 'cut the level short' and make it smaller than intended otherwise it'd be possible to drive off the map. Also in that level i set it to play a MIDI on loop every 0.01 seconds. These days MMF would probably just start playing it once and 'know what i was trying to do', but back then i thought it would have to be constantly calling the event to play it for it to play constantly. Instead it just made a metallic 'churning' noise which sounded vaugley like a very badly tuned car engine, so i kept it like that anyway
