How do you execute notepad as an external program and enter text in to the blank document created?
The notepad.exe is at C:\WINDOWS\notepad.exe so I enter that in "Program to execute" and then enter the text in but see "The System cannot find the path specified" like it's trying to load a document.
What do I do to actually enter text in the document?

Use the file object to execute the file in there, and use a system object to get the VALID Windows directory for ANY Windows system. It isn't always C:\WINDOWS\.
