Can someone help me with making a 360 shooting system using only extensions available for MMF2, such as the ‘Advanced direction object’. With these features:
- 360 degree shooting
- Bullets are to go from the player to a crosshair. And from an enemy to the player.
- Fast paced bullets. Preferably with a decent collision.
- Recoil.
- Shotgun fire.
- Simple system, one I can understand, without use of many loops or lots of values. Something simple that is easy to add to an engine and adjust.

This would be very very very helpful. It would be even more helpful if someone could send an example to my mail (willy313@gmail.com).

Wow. "If something is hard to do, then its not worth doing"

You should add "Please make my game for me..." to your sig.

Normally I'm all for helping people out, but come on.

I don't think you understand. This is some basic cos and sin code, some basic math shit I have no business trying to understand, as I got an E in math. I know there are some really smart kids here, please help!

And please don’t say I’m trying to make someone make me a game. That’s just rude.

I agree, there's no need for comments like that, Deadeye.

Sorry if I misunderstood, but it looked to me a lot like "I can't do this, please make an engine with this full list of features."

allright cool axel. Don't need to make it in MMF2 though. I can open 1.5 files in the 2.0. It just can't contain any extensions that MMF2 don't have. ‘Advanced direction object’ is in both MMF1.5 and 2.0

Hmmm... Didn't you already do all this for Sub-Zero Conditions? o_O

Well, I was working on a similar engine earlier, I can add some stuff and send you the source later maybe. I can't promise you anything though, I'm pretty busy at the moment.

allright, thx man. Yeah. I did do it for sub zero, but the maker of the 'Angle calculator' won't convert his extension. So I've got to use the 'advanced direction object', an extension I don't understand.

I believe it's the same, except you just have to set the number of directions to 360 before use...

'Kay, here's an exe of my engine this far. It's for my own little FPS game I'm making with my brother Erik, but I can make you a similar engine, or lend you the source when I'm done with it.

http://aggggge.funpic.org/FPSeng.rar

Move with arrow keys, aim with mouse, shoot with left mouse button.
It doesn't have recoil or shotguns yet, but you get the idea...

Hey, is this for SZC2? Yay.

That engine seemed to have recoil... maybe I'm confused, I don’t speak English perfectly. But by recoil I mean that the accuracy of the weapon is not 100%- to make it seem more realistic. Pretty good engine so far, btw!

Yeah its for SZC2, it’s coming along nicely, I just need a proper 360 shooting code, then the engine is close to being finished.

If you’re a fan, and if you like, I’ll let you beta test when that time comes. In exchange of a simple 360 degree shooting code, with the preference I described above.

Sure. Just gonna install those other features.

Isn't recoil when the gun like flies backwards from the blast when you fire it? I thought you wanted the guy to fly backwards when firing really big weapons, like rocket launchers or whatever. That would be pretty cool actually.

Oh, it may be. But that's no problem. I allready know how to do that, I can code by myself.
Let me know as soon as you got something sorted. Thx mate!
