i am new to the dc so could anyone tell me how to submit a game for gotw?

Just submit your game on the downloads page, with a good description and some screenshots.
Then the next week your game will be in the GOTWpoll(some games dont enter it though, like fangames?).
Then, if your game gets the most votes, it will become the GOTW.
That's pretty much all there is to it - make sure the game has a description of decent length and quality, and some screenshots that show actual gameplay.
Non-Click games aren't included in the GOTW. I'm not entirely certain what the stance on fangames is now, though.
I think the fallowing disqualify you for GOTW unless otherwise noted by an admin:
Fan game (Maybe?)
Non-Click
Pre-Release Demos
Abandoned (Goes with Demo I guess.)
Tutorials (Obviously)
Other then that, like above, the admin choose games which are included in the GOTW, all you have to do is include a decent description, add some screenshots, and of course... have a half decent game. Your job is done from that point on. However, asking for your game to be in the GOTW, well pretty much assure that it wont be.
i can't see why only really good fangames should be included. Because the whole point of gotw as a poll is to see the entire tdc's favourite game. If the admins get to choose which fangames get in then that is not fair on people that like to make fangames.
