Is it actually possible on an XP system to get GamesFactory games to play in full screen mode? I have done everything it says in the docs but the direct draw option in the general settings tab stays ghosted out. I assume that this is stopping me from using fullscreen.

Has anyone got a GF game that works in fullscreen? I know that I can port it to MMF and do it but I need to know if it is possible in GF alone.

Any advice would be great.

Jason.

With plugins you can. Like the display properties object.

By default you can achieve the effect of full screen in TGF,
by disabeling all of the options in the game setup -> window,
except for: Resize display to fill current windows size.
Altough it's full screen, it's probably not what you meant.

Hope this helpes a bit.

OK just found and tried the plugin but it doesn`t allow any reall lores modes like 320x200 or 320,240. Is there any other way to get this to work? Like I said MMF does this so I cannot see why GF does not as it is the older of the two and should therefore cater for the older screen resolutions surely?

Display properties extension is only an extension which changes your "MS Windows" resolution not the games resolution. Your VGA card should support 320x200,etc. modes for that extension to work. MMF is the solution for that

For 320x240, you could use the 640x480 resolution and set the game option to strech the game size in the window.
