Hi!

How to controll tempo of playing *.wav samples (for modulated engine sound) in Games Factory? I tried with MCI: bitspersample, bytespersec, amplespersec, but it doen’t seem work.

not completely sure if DMC2 can handle tempo and such, but you should try using that extension

The DMC2 object can play WAVs at different frequencies - I've got it to work before, but never actually used the feature in a game.

I've got both, however, I have no Idea how to install extensions in TGF

I copied dmc2.gox and bass.dll into TGF main directory as well as Dsound2.cox and dmc2.cox, but I cant find DMC2 nor DSOUND2 obiect in TGF level editor.

I've found "DMC2 Easy" tutorial but there is nothing about it.

Just copy the .cox file to your GFactory directory. Then restart TGF (if you have it open) To insert it in the level, click Create New Object, then Extensions.

Well, I'm afraid I don't have an 'Extensions' tab in my TGF (1.04 PL)
There are only 'General', 'Multimedia' and 'Plug-ins' under 'Create New Object' option.

You need at least version 1.05 for extensions. Good luck finding an update :|

The DirectSound 2 object is only for MMF.

I had a localized (eastern european) version of TGF which standard extensions and updates didn't work.

Now I've got english TGF and everything works perfectly, including DMC2

Thanks for Your help!
