Make sure that the mp3-file is in the same folder as the gamefile. Otherwise if you want the file inside a folder named music or something like that, create a new folder inside the folder where you have your gamefile, and then put the mp3 there. Then you'll just have to add: Openstream (nameofthefolder\mp3name.mp3)

Music Composer.

Playstream=1? I think the value after entering the stream name is to decide whether to loop or not - instead, use

Initialize bass.dll.
Openstream (name of MP3 file), looping= { 0 or 1 }
PlayStream

Don't forget to close the stream and terminate bass.dll when you close the program, though - otherwise it'll either keep playing or crash.

You will find loads of platform engines on the web somewhere, The all work in their own way but differently. Its best if you look at a few and take ideas from them to create your own.

When it says "Can't find DMC2.gox" it really means "Can't find Bass.dll" so make sure that's in the same directory as your game and it always helps to keep it in Windows/System32 too.
