As some of you might be aware of, the continuation of a great adventure game and GOTW winner has been canceled, due lack of response to the preview
( http://create-gamescom.winstemp.com/preview.asp?id=1744 ). I though I maybe could effect the decision somehow, so I started this namelist.
Maybe you too can effect the decision, by signing this namelist. Please write anything here; your name, your signature, maybe a comment of the game; if you want "One Step From Reality Chapter 2" to be finished. I hope we can make a difference!

I solemnly declare, that I, Reverend Matthew Boothman the Third, do not want "One Step from Reality Chaper 2" to be made. And neither do I want to go to JonickArt. So there.
OK, firstly this game was cancelled back in March so I don't think it can be brought back any more. Secondly if the author is cancelling because of "not enough comments on the preview" then they are TOTALLY missing the point. This guy is basically admitting he's only making games because he wants to be showered in many excited comments, fame, being well known, etc. If you're only making games for that, stop now. Make games because it's fun. Heck, he even got pretty good comments too, usually on TDC by that point people are talking about rape or something.
Heck, even if posted a preview and not so much as a tumbleweed came to visit, I'd still carry on working on it, for the same reasons I started it in the first place. Sometimes I post an article and nobody says anything, but somebody probably still benefitted from it but didnt post. I bet loads of people look at previews and think "Hey, that looks pretty cool" but don't always post a comment. I know I'm one of those people.
I for one enjoyed this game, since there are hardly any adventure games made with klik products, also brings back memories of playing Simon the Sorcerer.
Yet it was cancelled in March, why bring this up now? He's probably forgotten all about it and removed it from his hard drive, if you had said it a week after it had been cancelled I would have said something, yet you left it too late and I have to say "It was nice knowing you One Step from Reality, but it looks like goodbye."
