When I was ´roking on the menu grid for my latest game I "discovered" a really annoying bug in TGF. There'll be a whole bunch of events associated to this menugrid and each gridframe is an independant active object. So I made an icon to each and everyone of them. But when I change something with the animation in one of them, it's icon I made get replaced with a picture of the first frame of the stopped sequence. It annoys me to death. Does someone know why it is like this. Or is this a unique problem?

i dont really understand your problem, a common thing i forget though is making sure if im using an AO that changes animations, to set ALL of the animations to loop.

maybe upload an example so we can see what its doing...

I think his problem is that when he changes animations of an active object, the icons in the event editor also change. I don't know how to prevent that, but in the event editor there's an option to display an object's name as well as its icon. In the event editor goto: Edit-->Editor Preferences-->Objects--> then check "Object's name." Hope this helps.

You can stop it from doing that - I don't have TGF here just now, but I think it's in the Level Editor preferences and called "Automatically create icons". De-check that and your icons will stay as you drew them.
