Anybody know how I can make it so that the higher an object is on screen, the more to the back it is, in Multimedia Fusion Express 1.06?

I Guess a key factor is that the two objects are the same kind. I have little men and tanks. I have it so that when the men are higher up, they are shown behind the tank, which is perfect. However, when a tank is higher up than another tank, whichever one came into play most recently will be displayed on top.

Read Radix's (uber-confusing) foregrounding technique:

I don't really get it, but it works.

The Layer Object can do the same thing in 1 action, but I'm not sure if it's available for MMX.

Awesome, it appears to be working fine (After much tweaking). Thanks a ton!
