I am doing this school project, and I though I'd do a multimedia thing. The thing is, my teacher has a mac. So if I make a program in mmf 1.5 in windows xp and build it to an exe, will it be possible to play off on a mac?

I had something similar, and my teacher used a mac. Unless he's specified that it has to be mac-compatible, I don't see why he can't run it on a pc.

if he had Virtual PC he could run an MMF exe, but i dont think the XP/Panther version is out yet. you can get older versions like 98/OS9 my school years ago had that

considered Macromedia Flash to make the multimedia thing?

Macs can't read EXEs. The only way to execute those on a Mac is to use a Windows emulator, such as Virtual PC.

Yeah, since mac and pc are two different hardware platforms featuring two different cpus (intel and compatibles versus motorola) featuring two different cpu instruction sets (intel x86 versus I dont know) ... a pc exe file cannot be executed on a mac. It may be emulated of course as allready stated.

I recommend you ask the guy if it *HAS* to run on a mac. He mightn't care.
