There are tons of great games, and then there are other, not so well-known, but excellent games. Here are some that haven't been credited in the community.

-Megaman-
Great series, but the magic kinda faded after X4. Megaman 7, for example, had a "shop" system, where you collected bolts which were required to make the items. It makes it similar to paying for something, but you understand why you have to "pay" Right-Auto (the robot who makes items). Also, in the 7th game and onwards, you would return to completed levels with collected weapons (and armor pieces, in Megaman X1 and later) to get new items. It also had a cool story. The levels were well-designed, and the game was a lot of fun.
Closest We've Gotten: Astrospoon and Elektroid

-Shining Force-
Best Strategy-RPG. Ever. I know it's great, but I'm horrible at it, so I don't have any words to put in. Any comments would help!
Closest We've Gotten: Nothing! A similar game would be nice...

-Metal Slug-
Never played it, but I know it's one of the best platformers ever. Comments would be appreciated!
Closest We've Gotten: Brainless

-Metroid-
Lots of exploration, and it's nonlinear. Again, I'm bad at it, so input would be good...
Closest We've Gotten: Tetroid and Eternal Daughter

-Castlevania-
The first was good, the second was like a really cut-down Circle of the Moon, I've never seen hide nor hair of the third, the fourth was okay, the fifth (in Japan) rocked, and all the RPG ones on later systems were greatly excellent and wonderful (and I need to try them!). Challenging. but not impossible, nad the graphics and effects were neat.
Closest We've Gotten: Eternal Daughter and SINFused (Nash's game)

-Super Ninja Boy-
It was weird, and the beat 'em up system was fun. Play it, and you'll understand.
Closest We've Gotten: Nothing, but I can't blame anyone.

That's all for now, more later. Right now I'm going to get Megaman Battle Network (I'll write about it in the next part), and some other stuff.

Cha!
