This is my first article and I have something to say.... what? SOMETHING TO SAY! Yes, now listen!

Along with congratulations for Adam's (very worthy Game Of The Week winner) "Streetwise", today's news carried a very sad message with it; that Mr. Chris Street - an Admin guy for The Daily Click - was feeling that "the motivation to run this site isn't really there anymore". But what does this mean?

Well, as we are all aware, websites do not appear from nowhere. In fact, the better ones are run by a dedicated crew of hard working fanatics who put more into the site than they physically get out of it. The people who get the most reward from their graft are people like me, like other readers and like other users of the sites. The best sites are those that are updated regularly, and it is fair to say that The Daily Click is one of those sites.

And because of this, i benefit a lot from those Admin guy's fantastic work!

So what can we do to keep this site going the way we like it? Well, I’m not the answer man but i do have a few theories. We could keep the Admin guys motivated, for example.... but how?!? Well, since this is a games site, how about developing top-quality games and content for them to play and rave about? Sounds obvious but it's surprising how much 'rubbish' people have been submitting lately; joke games, fake games, games where players cannot even get past the 'press any key' screen - why?!?! Surely just seeing one of these per week must be depressing for the Admins. They put all this hard work into a website for little or no pay and then someone tries to waste their time with tripe that you cannot even play, or if you do play you wonder why you just wasted the last 10 minutes of your day downloading and booting up! It's gotta be enough to make you want to rip out your finger-nails after a very short while!

Another thing we could do is donate more cash to these guys. If they are anything like me then a little financial motivation may do the trick. In fact, I’m going to see for myself whether this is true or not by contributing some dollar right after i finish this article, and i urge all TDC users to follow suit just to show these guys what this site and their efforts mean to us all!

We could also try and increase the hits this site gets and spread the word. In the past fortnight I have already opened the eyes of two of my friends to the benefits of MMF and hopefully, given time, they too will become members of The Daily Click family! It will take time for them to feel confident enough to contribute to these pages, but at least I am doing my part to increase this site’s user base. Can everyone else say they are doing their bit? I hope they can.

However, i think we could REALLY help motivate these guys by letting them all know - and i don't mean by sending them all valentines cards and flowers! No, i mean by keeping ourselves professional, reducing bad language, submitting quality games and posting interesting comments, writing articles that people wanna read and keeping humour both regular and in good taste. By keeping to these rules we are saying to the Admins "look, we are all here and we want The Daily Click to remain a HUGE part of our gaming lives!" - poor games, ‘joke’ games, little contribution and bad language does not send this message and only causes them to think ‘why do we even bother?’

So let's support this site even more so than we ever have before - let's let them know we are here, were serious about our games and we're serious about this website!

LONG LIVE THE DAILY CLICK!
