Well you'll likely release this game before I do mine, so they'll think I stole them from you... Oh well, we'll see what happens. I can always come up with more if I need to. Don't feel bad about using any/all of them.

An owl or hawk or something, I don't know what theme your enemies will follow. Has a range of vision. Whilst in that range, it will attempt to lock onto the player. When it's done locking on, it'll swoop down fast - deadly combined with other hazards or weird environment, but possible to be killed if the player is quick enough/times it right. Could really put pressure on the player in a lot of situations. Should often be placed in an unreachable place, looking over the play area.

For the forest, you could make a poison ivy enemy. They won't attack you, their more like obstacles. IF you touch it, you would start to become very itchy, if you don't get in some water, you start to lose health because your scratching your scales off. Once you get in water the poison is washed off.

Gez probably won't swim in this one, but I could easily make it so he has to go under a waterfall or something.
