Although, I suppose I can't take full credit for it. Werbad (Jonas Rehn) posted a two event platforming engine he made back in 2007, which I did look over extensively before creating mine. However, his used fastloops to generate the collision mask from the frame, whereas mine uses no fastloops to generate the frame from the collision mask, so it's kinda the other way around. The advantage to my method, however, is that I can do it on an Always event and not need any more events to deal with

Hmm... Not that I'm an ace coder by any stretch of the imagination, but have you thought of an alternative to using the timer? Using a global value or an alterable value of some kind?

I'm just finishing commenting it up for public use and then it's good to go I could easily avoid using the timer, but honestly there's no point. The timer works perfectly fine for my current needs
