Heheh rest assured, you demands will be meet as soon as possible.
Right now it's not on my hands, but it won't take much longer, I'd say we'll have it ready by next month.

I think you should attempt to release this on the Indie Games section for Xbox Live.

Not a bad idea at all, but as far as I know they force us to use xna which is C# only and it would force me to rewrite most of the game code. But now that you talk about it, that might be a great idea actually and I think it might be worth all the hassle.

I vote YES. (The "y" I typed in the middle of that thumbs up is a capital, in case you can't tell.)

I took a closer look at xna and I think it might actually be a possiblity. The only bad point I found was that I need to have a premium creators club membership if I want to release anything on the xbox360. I don't know how expensive it is, but hopefully it won't be a major problem, specially if the pc/mac/linux versions of the game do well.

Ok you guies convinced me
The idea of making a console game sounds really interesting, and I can easily imagine myself sitting in the couch in front of a big screen playing A Man With a Monocle with the xbox gamepad

How much is the license? Isn't it something like $100?

Yup Gamester is right, though the main issue for me is that I'll actually have to rewrite about 50% of the whole game code because from what I've seen XNA uses the directx API (which was to be expected, sadly) so I'll have to get rid of every function that uses SDL commands and rewrite them using directx's api which will be a rather big task considering my experience with directx is very little to none.

I'll have a proper go at it after I'm done with the current versions we're planning, but it's definitively something I'd like to do.
