Btw how does this work? Do you just use one frame? Or do you redraw them yourself and animate them or what? Because I could draw multiple frames with fx. a punch or something.
Well, it's mostly going to be done with code and images to represent what is there, but everyone wanted animation so I said yes.
If you've ever played Kingdom of Drakkar or Legends of Kesmai then you'll understand what I was going for, but with wackier art and as a platformer instead of mmorpg ... it will be interesting to say the least.
I was trying to avoid animations, but everyone wants to animate, so I might as well let them animate.
..... Concerning Animations .....
Mini-Bosses: 2 attacks, walking
Regular Enemies: just fly or walk around and injure the character if they touch him
Standard Bosses: 3 attacks, walking
Big Bosses: 4 attacks, walking, rushing
This project was originally meant to be just a picture representing the enemies to keep coding fast.
I'll probably do both now though, a still frame picture version which will be done first, and then the animated version where I will need to add in the animations and whatever extra code that presents itself.
