Uni is stealing my already short free time
Posted 5th Jun 10, by Johnny Look
Thought I'd drop a little update since it's been a while.

I've been having a lot of uni stuff to do and the exams are coming next week so I haven't been able to work on the game regularly for the past three weeks or so, but oh well.
Like I said previously, the game is almost done, only a few little things left to do and it's ready for release. Well I *could* release it as it is right now as the game itself is done, but I want to add a few little extras to make sure the player has a lot of interesting stuff to do after he/she beats the game.

It's hard to resist the temptation of releasing the thing after all the work and time we put into it, I'm really curious to see how people will react. But to be entirely honest, at this point I don't really care if it doesn't get a great reception, or even if it flops sales-wise.
For me it already proved that the hard work was worth it, I couldn't be happier with what me and the others involved did.
It's also pretty damn hard for me to keep myself from ranting about that, but I'm sure you already know that.

Ah college work, how it sucks your time away.

Actually I wonder if the delay of the release will coincide better with something else TDC is planning... could be a good thing!

Still thinking about that XNA version eventually? Or is it too early to know?

Well, first the PC versions, then the Linux and Mac versions, and then perhaps the XBLA version.
The main issue is that I don't own a xbox 360, if I bought one it would probably end up gathering dust once the game is released.
But I'm still not rulling out the possibilty of a xbla version, perhaps I might find someone I could borrow/rent the console for testing purposes.
