Some moar updates
Posted 20th Sep 09, by Johnny Look
Just received all the tracks from Johan, and needless to say I'm really impressed, not that I ever doubted his qualities as a composer, but somehow he managed to surprise me, even though I had very high expectations.

The assets are now all finished (graphics, sounds and music), only about 20 levels to go.

However I've been struggling with a weird crash on some computers with Vista (yes, Vista again), that cause a BSOD every time the game is run. I'm still investigating the problem, apparently it's a known issue with the compiler I'm using so I'm hopeful they'll fix that bug soon, or I'll have to go after a solution myself.

But well, apart from that problem everything is going as expected, so I'll be able to reach the deadline.

omc: I had my suspicions.

jthongbai: Worry not, I shall find the solution !

Marko: ahaha thanks, very true that, at least the Vista = sh*t part

Hahahaha .. Vista! .. you've done it again Macroshaft!
Makes me wish I had bought a Mac (I'd be tempted if I thought ClickTeam stuff was compatible with a Mac)
Is it?

It looks like you guys are doing quite well besides that though. And with Johan's music being used, it's going to be good even if the gameplay isn't. But I'm confident that it will have great gameplay too. Johnny has made some good stuff in the past.

Sadly I don't think there is any way to run click apps or products in a Mac, maybe through Boot Camp but I'm not sure.

Thanks a lot MBK, greatly apreciated !
However I have to say this project is nothing like my older games, it's too soon to say if it's my best or not (though I believe it will), but I can say for sure it's the one I worked the hardest for.
