original post:

here's the game as it is now, I tweaked the colors in almost every tile so the differences should be noticeable.

I personally would like to see the stars in the background, but meh, your choice.

whoops wrong screenshot, the other one was with the low background detail on.

looks a bit too dark now.

whoa its very dark

Humm I thought it was more readable before, the colours saturation dropped which is good, my only dislike about the previous update, but now they have become overall tooo dark. That sign is sticking out like a sore thumb. I think the night background is fine, but the platforms/foreground needs to be easy to see for the player.

PM'ing you the high res lines of the old chap.

mmh thanks guies, I reworked the colors again and uploaded a screenshot, is it any better now ?

The actual foreground is barely distinguisable.

I second AndyUK's point, though i still think colour is the way to go. In a way i prefer the original pic from the previous Devlog now...

Yeah I agree too, I'll try increasing the brightness of the background. Btw don't forget to see the screenshots in their real size by clicking the images, you can barely distinguish anything if they are in the default size.
