Yeah sorry about the length of a new devlog guys! I've been so busy with starting university and settling in halls that I've havn't had much time on making games...until last week.

=

So for a nice treat, 'eres a video of some of the first stage. (I did record the ingame sfx, but I accidently recorded it too loud.)

Anyway yeah, a short demo will be released soon so keep a look out for that...

Enjoy!

(Btw - I'm not bothering with two player. It's busy enough with one players on the screen. Plus I cba coding in Online with this. Sorry guys )

Long time no see! This video looks like something you'd see on indiegames.com's blog.

I take that IndieGames.com blog is a good thing. I've lost touch of the indiegame scene cause of damn Uni work >.<.

Nice to be back OMC! Hows ya keeping? Thanks for the nice comment =

Yep, that's a good thing.

All's pretty dandy. Winter break's coming up so I only have to weather another week and a half and exams. What's your major?

Hey, good to see ya again!

I think you should totally show this off at TIGsource. I think it's wholly worth a frontpage! I mean jeez, those be some incredible GFX, right there.

@OMC: Studying good ol' Animation at the University of Edge Hill. Haha. It's pretty fun I guess just so much work. <3 Storyboarding and Model making but the rest...meh rather boring tbh.

And @WereWoof: Nice to see ya again! Hows ya games coming along! I'll probs show it off more once the Castle demo has been completed. I'll update the game page too because I'm changing some stuff aswell. Glad ye liked

And remember. No one "owns" one particular set of colors. The game looks excellent.

@Joel: Of course, best luck with your game! I'm almost positive it'll get front paged on TIG.

As for my games, well, they's coming along pretty slowly. But so far so good!

Nice! Looks sorta like Gunstar Heroes

Good to see it's still in development. I really like the look of this.

Xhunterko, funny you should say that. Some years back a friends game was heavily criticised by one of the more popular (back then) clickers because of his palette choice. So that kind of thing used to happen, but not anymore thankfully.

Thanks for all your comments and views! Engine is stable, (a few little pet peeves still in the code, but meh I'll work them out at a later date.)

Now I could upload a very small demo of Stage 1 area 1 with the boss, or you could wait until I've made all the areas for the stage. Up to you. It takes ages to make an area let alone a stage due to the huge effort in making bosses!

Anyway cheers again! I'll keep ya posted.

Looking very explosive, and contra-styled. Both good things. I know it's only a short video but I think more of a mix of enemies would make it really cool.

And that's my game Dr. James is talking about, god I still remember that... seriously...
