First Video of the Demo!!!
Posted 11th Sep 09, by ILIKESCIFI Games
So here it is! A first Video of the game itself (I would call it a Pre-Beta Demo. I will try to keep my promise, and create a demo for testing until next friday (18th). But this video is pretty much, how the game will look like. I hope you enjoy it!

It's... IT's... A WONDER. The art is absolutely astounding! And the feel of the game and it's atmosphere is so incredible! I love how you've made your own unique style to the game. I was especially drawn to the bridge's architecture, paired with the graphics it created it's own style in itself.

I do have one small critisism, however. I think the main character's walk animation should be a very small bit slower. It also feels a bit stiffened and his head seems to bob back and forth which makes it seem quite strange. Other than that, this game just looks like a winner all over.

This is looking absolutely SuperCaliFradge!!! (BBC Radio 1 listeners might get that reference) I love evrything about it except the swimming. Are you putting a swimming animation in?

The New Menu looks awseome and I like how smooth your elemental selection is.

Outstanding. If you are looking for a beta tester count me in!!!

Very cool! I'm going to assume this is going to be a monster of a game to download. It looks like you're using huge graphics for the level building? How is the performance with that?

The graphics are awesome and I bet the engine + physics give a lot of opportunity for some interesting level design. The only real complains about the "trailer" so far are two things.

1. CHANGE the goddamn beep sound of your menus. It made my ears bleed. That sound alone is a complete fail. You must be a deaf person if you didn't notice that this sound is completely atrocious

2. On main menu, the planet rotates. That's fine. But the light and shadow are rotating as well, which is killing the effect. My advice would be split the graphics in two. The first is the rotating planet without light/shadow and the second is an alpha backdrop on top of it containing light and shadow only.

Nevertheless keep up the good work, I bet this project will kick ass when it's out!

looooooool ok first: sounds are horrible i know uaaaaaaaaaaahhh...the beep is going on my nerves too but i never changed it (must be something freud-ish in my under it or whatever

doublefirst. thank you guys! those comments rock!! and everyone who is willing to betatest: thats great. as I mentioned there are a lot of bugs and the game does not even run on some machines (damn).

keep up for good advises and critic. Thats what i really need. time is running out pretty fast.

honestly guys, this forum makes my motivation!

It's really great to see how beautiful this game is becoming. The things that put me off (like others have mentioned) are the sound effects, most of them seem a little extreme - but I dunno know that might be an effect you want, though the walking was a bit loud/repitive for my taste.

I spent quite a while thinking 'bout something bad (that no1 else already mentioned) to say about this game.

The MEGA-jump from the water is kinda' weird... IMO, the "power" of it should be reduced.

Other than that, this looks fantastic.

graphics are great! especially the pretty partical effects. Although how he jumps out of the water that high is beyond me (maybe he's a seal?)

Posted by ILIKESCIFI Games 13th September, 2009

loool...yea maybe thats another abbility "extream seal power". Hmm IŽll see what I can do. Thx!
