One ring to.... ah...you know the story!
Posted 29th Jul 09, by ILIKESCIFI Games
NEWS: ok...the idia with 2 rings doesnt work. Ive tried it for hours and some friends tried it and, well...it just does not feel right. So there will be only 1 ring with all the elements in it.

The story will be changed a little. There are some very un-logical parts we did not see or realize in the beginning. I´m writing on some different storys (which have the same main story of course) now. Let´s see what the outcome will look like!

I finished a tech version (so no final graphics//interface) of a ringmenue that should work for my game anf for the combinations of playable forms the player will have.
For I am not a big youtube fan at the moment i just put the video in my blog:

What do you think about it? I´m not sure if it will work. I´m gonna put it in the game this sunny sunny afternoon and will let you know during this night.

I like that. But could you make the icons turn? There's a quick lazy method you could do-

Have all the visual icons as bouncing balls. And they always look to the position they're supposed to be (maybe use other active objects), rather that setting their position. And then set the speed to the distance between the icon and its destination. That would give a transition effect.

thx Doctor!!

Hey, that's pretty cool. I would follow James on this one, cause a transition effect would look awesome.
