Now, i have planned to let the player customize their game in a few ways.

One of the ones i am working on now is to let the player customize their own gradient for the toolbar.

I am thinking of adding a trap mode to the game. Where you go through the level avoiding traps.


I have also increased the item list from 5 to 17.

Nice project you have. I played the little tutorial mfa and my only gripes are that Mario jumps way too high/far for my taste. I know Mario can jump, but it's a little ridiculous when he can clear 25 blocks across. It also makes having to run into enemies impossible since you could just bounce in the air for 90% of the time. I also don't think Mario works well with a double jump. The whole point of the Mario platforming controls is that it allowed you to jump high enough and maneuver Mario in midair in order to perform precise jumps. That sort of goes out the window when you give him super jumping and a double jump.

While I'm on the subject... why do all click platformers seem to have a double jump? Is double jumping really that cool? I'd much rather prefer my character can just jump high instead of needing to always double jump to get to places. Plus the logic behind it makes me angry. It's just not possible to boost yourself in mid air... without some sort of rocket pack or outside force.

You are the first person to give me some feedback on the game.

I'll reduce the jump of all of the characters, and adjust their speed to compensate.

Most click platformers have double jumps probably because... i dont really know.

Eletric Suit
Super Shock Flower,

i am going to explain all of these powers up after i see if other mario games have double jumps. i am pretty sure they do put... i gotta make sure
