The ball is rolling again

The last version is almost 8 months old but I've been working on this for the last month quite a lot while I'm waiting for the level designers to finish the levels for A Man With a Monocle.

A new version might be released perhaps today or tommorrow and is quite different from the last playable beta.

One of the biggest differences is the battle system. The regulars in the Atrox forum probably know about this already, but I've been working on a new turn based battle system and while it's still not 100% complete, it's already a lot better than the old real time based one.

Also it wouldn't have been worth making you guies wait for so long if I didn't include new content, so be prepared for new zones, new NPCs and new quests.

On the more technical side there's the switch to Lacewing, and so far I've found it to be quite stable so congrats to Aquadasoft.

Now the not so good news(or maybe it's a good news for some) is that, because of the new battle system, I disbled PvP, meaning you can't kill other players anymore. Of course, this will be enabled again in the near future but you won't be able to just aproach a player and just start hurting him.
To fight another player you'll have to issue him a duel proposal, and if he/she accepts the battle is on.

Also another of the planned features is to greatly increase the player to player interaction. You'll be able to donate money and items to other players, as well as sell your stuff. Some items can only be found in some areas of the world, so if you're the traveler type you might be able to get a lot of money by selling those items for example.

But well this is only a bit of the future, and I'll stick to my plans, build this game bit by bit, the hardest part is done now so now it's time to fix what's wrong and add new stuff.

Oh and by the way, the old forum got accidently deleted so I had to create another one.

It was a shame to lose all the posts, some people had very interesting suggestions but oh well.

Thanks !

The forum appears to be down, I'm not entirely sure why, I really hope I didn't do anything wrong while installing or I'll have to reinstall the forum again.
