some of the backgrounds are quite nice. But I think it all looks a little generic at the moment.
In fact at first glance you could mistake it for the first game.
I think that trail effect is much too obvious, the trails need to start transparent I say. I like the look but I think you should have experimented outside of the default clickteam colour palette.
