Well sorta not exactly, just a bad estimate... The will to click is too strong! Decided all the project needs is a new direction as the old direction was getting bland and the coding was quite flawed.

Ok I have not beeen here for a while. What happened? Your game and the progress of it looked SOOOOO freaking good and promising! I read in the post below that you stoped working on it? How can I make you motivated again ? Please! Please keep up the work on project motherworld! Jot

Well I had some college classes over the summer and I picked up a musical instrument, and I am working on starting a band. I found that during this, I didn't have time for Mother World and the game was just distracting from other hobbies.
Plus everytime I opened up the .MFA I felt kinda frustated because my current coding skills had evolved past the coding I had used to make the game, plus the plan of Mother World didn't allow for much creativity. The world I choose was a revamped world from a Super Nintendo game(Earthbound) taking place 10 years later, and that didn't allow for much creativity which feeds my will to click.
So I've decided to take a new approach, but most of the features such as real time, the story being seen through sidequest, NPCs being extremely life like, and such will all be kept. As well as many features to be added, some are seen in the screenshot if you look closely.
Progress should go a bit faster now so we'll see where it goes. I feel like I HAVE TO finish this game! 3 years of work and not finished- I'm gonna change that!
Oh and there's a new blog set up for the project-

Glad to see you're not giving up so easily.

I understand. Especially the thing with the Instrument (which one is it?) and the band. There´s nothing like a band so I understand why you love it!
But still: keep up the work with your project. I had some similar problems with Pitiri but I kept on working and its not gonna be this HUGE FANTASTIC WHATEVER game but it will be finished. So all the motivation in the world to you AND: let me hear some music of you guys if you have your first jamroom recording!

The will to click is to strong!!! But yeah the project is reinvented now.

As for what instrument...well, it's a little far out there but I play...Banjo The instruments got a bad rep as the 'Hill Billy Instrument' because it takes so much more skill and time devotion to play than a guitar. I also plan on learning how to play Dobro in old time slide style. So we're all going for kind of an old time blue grass meets modern southern rock effect. Think Lynyrd Skynyrd with a couple much needed old time instruments like a banjo.
