Not long ago, a friend and I made a short film. This is a rearranged version of the main theme. Have a listen.

The 80's campiness is intentional (and to me, at least, amusing). All the music for the film was done in the last couple of days and I didn't want to try anything ambitious.

That's pretty awesome. I mean... I'd have to see the movie to see how it fits. What did you use to make that song?

In this thread I was trying to get someone to make music for my short film...

It feels to flat, you need some strings and a fatter base IMO.
You got something totally wicked going on there, nice stuff indeed!

Thanks for your comments, all.
Jeremiah: I used Propellerheads Reason. As far as 'fitting' goes, well... Being the main theme, it's generally supposed to be played at more climatic points (and in different forms). There's more incidental music too, obviously.
CGmonkey: I'd agree that (as a stand-alone piece, anyhow) it could be much more interesting texturally... But adding a string section probably isn't the way I'd go.

Duncan, did you pay $500 for that software? Isn't there a more cost effective way for the proles?
