I really like clickteam products but some of them have a horrible interface.

Klik and create is da birth of the game dev. software but it lacks alot.It doesnt have very much commands and the graphics are bad.

MMF 1.5 is good but i hate it alot(waste of my money). It's windows are probably the most horrible thing in mmf 1.5 because they build up and they make me feel really sick because they are cascade and they waste my time.Plus making objects in MMF is toooo hard because (again) the windows r cascade and i have to close windows and open them all the time and animating objects isss confusing.

The Games Factory makes me feel at home its windows are perfectly arranged so i can get around and they automaticly close so i dont have to freak out.It is also very good for little kids to use because they can get to where they want to go and making objects and backdrops is very easy and setting up movements is easy too.Making actions is easy to do with the step through and if something is wrong the person can manually fix it with a click of a button. My 9 year old sister understood the program in five minutes and made her first game in a half hour.

If u want a clickteam product i really recommend using The Games Factory.MMf costs too much and it lacks alot so does klik and create.

'Ahem' - MMF will forever rule, and the way you go on and on about the windows really does reveal to us all that you are rather, how should I say, simple..

The windows are easy to get used to, and the power of the tool dwarfs that of TGF.

Plus MMF is a Multimedia Authoring tool, where TGF is a bog standard Games package, You can create A LOT more with MMF than TGF, therefore making the price "Worth it"

Case closed.

"It's windows are probably the most horrible thing in mmf 1.5 because they build up and they make me feel really sick because they are cascade and they waste my time."

EHHHH!!!??? You can maximize the windows. plus the ability to have to frames open at once can be useful for copying etc.

i really wish everyone would stop bashing MMF's interface. it's really easy to get used to and the result, like jon says, is a brilliant authoring tool.

I agree with Pete and Paul, you just have to get used to the MMF interface and it becomes really easy to use.

i can see why pixel artists would favour TGF's sprite editor, but for the more sloppy of us MMF's offers far more features, all of which are useful.

yeah i really hate that mmf sprite editor, and i can tell i will NEVER get used to that. I got used to the demented window system, but the sprite editor is just a nightmare. I hope the picture editor in mmf2 will be just good and simple, with a normal palette. So to me, MMF is a piece of crap, and I ll only use it for the extra power and features (paralaxing, mode7).

Then use TGF's sprite editor and import the sprites into MMF. Or use any sprite editor you want really. Whats the big deal here?

I'm spending the next 4 days until i get mmf (Christmas, for any dumbass who doesn't know) building sprites in TGF. I tried mmf demo, it was good except for the sprite editor. MMF with TGF sprite editor would be sweet. And, to comment on some posts:
Damien: Damn right, TGF kicks ass.
Jon: Good point, MMF is better than anythig else (I know I just said TGF rocks, but it comes second compared to mmf.)
Kamasutramaster: That's wrong. Go fuck yourself... or have your boyfriend do it.
Zim: My 11-year old cousin understood mmf in 10 minutes. In half an hour, he had made the first level of a platformer-shooter with destructable terrain, 3 different guns, and enemy A.I. And it was his first click product ever used. And if you shun mmf, you will never be a true game designer.
Pete, Paul, Tom: I totally agree about the interface.
JD: The sprite editor does really suck (I think I mentioned earlier?)
Wizard: Nice signature!
See y'all later. And if you want my game making resume, here it is:
Eggs
Milk
Booze
Condums
Corn
Other Groceries
Why did I post my shopping list? To cover my resume. Sorry if this is long and off-topic.

You can customise MMF's interface to look however you want. Note TGF's interface is not customisable in any way. In fact my MMF interface looks very similar to TGF's.
