Another really awesome looking game by the one and only Jonathan Smeby! This game looks just as good as some of your other best works. I'll tell you my final conclusion after I've fully played through it, but it's looking good.

Erm...let's not exaggerate. This is a quite small and straightforward platform game. In the vein of Paroxysm (let's not use the word rip-off, eh). I do like the witty background story and animation, and this is where Jonathan Smeby is really the best. But beside that...does this game deserve 100 % five stars? C'mon.

BTW, how do I exit from this game? Annoying.

yeah its good but its not 5 stars.

generally very fun little game but its not very long so it can't have 5 stars.

also some annoying things like 1 screen where you start already falling down a slope, which is ok once you know what to do but first few times will almost certainly result in death. Also, some deaths are caused by things you wouldn't expect to kill you. E.g. a red thing slams down and i jump on top of it and as it starts to slowly move back up again it kills me.

besides that, very good and definitely better than anything else in GOTW, which this week seems to only have 2 games in it.

Um at the slope part you just hold down right, pretty straight forward.

And for some reason this game is start to remind me of Abes Exodus?

yeah i know what to do on the slope part, i completed the game; my point was, really you should start that frame just before the slope. if you die on a bit after that slope and it restarts that frame you have to be already holding right before it begins, i died a few times on the section after that and forgot about the slope and fell to my death.

length shouldnt take away from its total value.

you can keep trying -.- it starts you back at the begining of the current frame.

DOS = instawin. even if it doesnt win gotw.

Loved this game!

The spriting and animation was awesome, and what little story there was kicked butt. I would have given 5 stars if it kept with the story.

This is really good stuff. A bit hard for my personal taste, but it is compensated by the big variety of traps and environments, plus it is humorous.

I give short games less stars, because it is much easier to make short games than ones that offer more than a few minutes of gameplay, duh.

I had like 800, but I only tried it once.

Outstanding! This game is brilliant!! I love the dialogue, the character sprites, the traps, the level design, everything! Even the title screen - brilliant! Everyone should download this game and try it for themselves.

As for those who gave it 3 stars, that is entirely their opinion and they shouldn't be hounded for it, but me personally i thought it was brilliant. This is really hard for me - i wanna give it 4.5 stars (but cannot, obviously) so i'm afraid i'll have to 'only' award it 4.

But Jonathon Smeby deserves a knighthood or something!

Well, I sorta agree with Mr_Tom. Although, maybe the word "epic" is a bit imprecise. My point is, I can't score a game with 5/5 that lasts for about 10 minutes, and that's from the first attempt at playing it. Especially a game whose visuals are not spectacular or impressive. Even then I doubt I would give a “10 minutes play time” game 5/5. If it was a game with high repetition value, randomized on some way with each new game, then maybe.

I really think we should implement 10 out of 10 ratings. I that case, I doubt most people would score it with 100 %.

Lachie, 10 stars are unneccesary, considering that there is no guideline of how to use them, and no way to learn every user to utilize them properly. Some will use the 5-star system much like the old thumb-system, and others can make up their own idea of what the stars stand for (and the visuals in this game are actually pretty impressive).

Codemonkey, if I had to take into consideration the circumstances under which the game was made, it would make rating so much harder, and the stars would less reflect how good the game really was, game-wise.

I can see myself giving this 5 stars in it's complete form, as it seems that there is more to come.

Ace game - good difficulty level -great graphics and characters. Only thing thast did piss me off quite a bit was sometimes the controls weren't responsive enough (especially after landing a jump, and then trying to jump immediatly after that)

Yeah I almost just wanted to show the second screenshot and the name abreviated (ROBMS), that way people would have no clue at ALL what they were in for

But then maybe no one would download it. It's all about the unexpected. And spikes.

There's a very noobish problem with the movement that lets you pick the speed you want to run at, but other than that, it was fun.

You mean when you hold two directional buttons together or something I don't even know about? If the first thing, just pretend it's meant to be played on a nintendo system and you can't press opposite directions together anyway!

Took me awhile to complete this one! Great peace of work love the elevator at the start when the guy get crushed below made me laugh! Looking forword to part 2!

Pretty Impressive. I'll have to look forward for the second part, because if you keep up the quality, it'll be awesome. Only problem is with one screen where you die when a piston is moving slowly upward and your standing on it. Other than it seemed pretty flawless.
