A football (or 'Soccer' for americans *edit-and aussies!* ) game. Score as many freekicks as you can!

Features:
-A defensive wall that randomly changes formation for every shot.
-A moving goalkeeper who speeds up the more goals you get.
- A combo counter that keeps track of how many goals you have scored in a row.
-31 national teams to pick from and the option to choose another team if your nation is not in the game. (Apologise if yours is not)
-Nations flags, colours and kits to make you feel you are doing it for your country!
-A 20 name score table, can you get to the top?

How to play:
Use the mouse to choose where you want your player to take the freekick taking the positioning of the defensive wall into consideration,
Then a target will move from left to right, click to stop the target where you want it to,
Click again to choose the speed of the freekick, the higher the speed counter the more power will go into the kick.
You start with 10 shots, every time you miss a turn will be taken away.
Click the right mouse button to bring up the pause menu.

Feel free to post your score here, it will be interesting to see how many goals people get.

It was fun It won't last long, but this game is really entertaining. I love the sounds (even if they might become annoying and repetitive, too) the ambience, and the gameplay.
It would be really cool if you could add an online score table. Also, the nation you choose has no effect on the game, and it is annoying to shoot when you've chosen a wrong direction.
Nevertheless, this is a simple but good game.

I am not a big soccer fan and i never play games based on it but this was very fun and enjoyable, lots of national teams and good effort with the engine as well!

It's Soccer for Australians too.

*Tut tut Australians*
An online scoreboard would be great, is that possible with TGF2? I've never done anything like that before but that would be ace.
On the nations not having an effect on game I thought it would be unfair being a score based game if being Brazil made the game easier than, say, being Austria (no offence to Austria!)

Not easier, but different

There are many tutorials to make an online scoreboard, like http://www.clickteam.com/eng/resources/online_score/onlinescoreboards.html They should work with TGF2 too.

I always wondered why "Football" in the USA is called so. I mean, you don't have to use your feet...

(I've deleted this comment 3 times just to make it appear correctly on the page. The "Edit" function have some bugs)

Thanks, I'll try and implement online tables, tho it makes it sound complicated but I'll give it a go.

Good Stuff, simple yet beautifully executed. Being a Yank myself I was hoping for somekind of brawl, couldn't even kick anybody.

It's called "football" here because our American football is derived from rugby (football), which uses more footwork than the occasional kick.

The game was too simple for more than three stars from me. It was however very stable, and the feature of being able to choose between so many nations sure added a lot.

It was pretty decent. A good addition would be to be able to add spin on the ball. But still it's a pretty good minigame.

Hehe, my best combo was 9. x)
Pretty fun game, for a while.

Spent hours following the guide on how to set up an online scoreboard only for it not to work. It was all working up until the imporant part-the game uploading your score. Anyone with experience of doing this?

Anyway, my top score-37, best combo-15.

Brazil is on top of the ladder. This game makes sense.

It's ok but to be honest there's not enough to it for me. Generally goal keepers don't run left and right across the goal like maniacs, which kinda makes scoring reliant on a bit of luck.

Fair enough but, no, GKs don't do that in real life I know, you also don't get to choose where to take the FK,and teams don't usually score 30 goals in one match but I never intended on it being a simulation!

But there is still no skill involved when trying to avoid the goal keeper when he moves across the goal 5 times a second.
