Looks friggin awesome! So much attention to detail, like when she trips and being able to re attach the doors. Animation is really good. Will be playing this one!

I bloody love this, it looks amazing - a great homage to the old zombie films

The animation is really nice, and looks really well done. Can't wait to play it.

Looking forward to this! Looks rather polished, with lots of tiny details. Any idea on a release date yet, or is it still "soon"?

GOTW Winner August 2010!
25th August, 2010

Hey guys, thanks for the kind words. Having a time sorting out a lot of little things. Been setting up my website trying to make things work correctly and I'm probably going to add in a profanity filter before I post the game as well. Anyway the game should be available for download by the end of this week, so grab your shotguns and lock your doors!

Piscesdreams, you've got some good eyes man. Yes. I felt obligated to put a tarman-like zombie in considering he was responsible for a lot of my nightmares when I was younger.

Your other trailer on YouTube looks tremendous! From all appearances, this game seems like it will be a blast to play.

Looking forward to the release.

That's awesome that you are paying the homage to Return of the Living Dead with tarman. Can we expect any other homages?

This game and Silhouette are the two on this site that I anxiously await. I'm curious, what process did you use to make your graphics? They are very fluid and well animated.

GOTW Winner August 2010!
30th August, 2010

Hey guys, the game is up. But you probably know that by now. If by some chance you missed it though, head over to the downloads and tell me what you think!

@Piscesdreams, there are some other homages, but they are all pretty subtle, I tried to take a little from all my favorite zombie movies/games/comics and put them together in a sandwich like game. ... not to be confused with a Jill sandwich.

To answer the other question and put lame jokes aside for a second , I don't really have any animation techniques. Generally if the animations gonna be kinda complicated
I use the characters head as a base and then wire-frame animate the body, like say if she were running , she'd almost be a running stickman. If I get lucky and it looks good, then I can add the details and colors to her. That part's usually long and tedious, thankfully when I picked this project up again 6 months ago most of it was done.
