Long time no... write?

Oh ho-ho my God, it's been ages!

Sorry for not updating recently, I've started a programming course at university, you see. C# and Java to start. I'm getting the hang of it, but it's hard work, so I've not really had any time to work on ULSG for a while. Plus, I did decide to take a break from ULSG for now.

It's not only that, though - I've got some sort of problem with Multimedia Fusion 2. I recently installed Windows 7, and it's great, but MMF 2 seems to be really slow now, and I mean, REALLY slow. I scroll down in the event editor, then it pauses, and I can see it redrawing all of the event boxes, even all the ones that are empty. It takes about 2 seconds to scroll one line down, so I find it nearly impossible to edit. I've tried turning the "Display Checkmarks when Scrolling" option off, but it still does the same thing. It's not like I have a slow computer, either...

I'll try reinstalling MMF2, but I was just wondering - has anyone else had this problem and managed to fix it somehow?

As soon as I get the slowdown fixed, I'm gonna get started on a load of new Achievements, and fix the problems that came up in the Alpha. Progress will probably be a bit slower due to university work, but I'll get there.

Oh yes, thanks to all those who played the Alpha, and all who left feedback! And thanks to Rikus for posting ULSG on the front page! That was a nice surprise - I honestly didn't believe that would happen.

Okay... gonna try reinstalling MMF2 now. I hope this speeds things up.

I have win 7 and this seemed to happen tom after i installed the HWA beta! using the normal one seems ok though.

Using the normal version of MMF2 was just as slow for me. I tried reinstalling, but there's no change.

Gah. :/ I'll try a defrag, and then I might reinstall Windows if that doesn't help. Thanks anyway, lembi.

It's nice that he posted it on the front page but did he have to give it such a weak description?

Hey, I'm not too bothered about the description - I'm just mega-grateful that Rikus took the time to post it up there and draw some attention to ULSG. I'm pretty proud of my creation, and I want many others to enjoy it, too.

As for the slow MMF2 problem, the solution to that for me was to unistall Kapersky Anti-Virus. Ever since I got rid of that and installed Microsoft Security Essentials, my PC has never been faster.
