James Penfold: Live by the Night is a new Action Platformer being worked on by The Janitor from <a href="http://dES.ma.cx">Dark Element</a>. Unlike most Action Platformers, this game doesnt rely to hard on Gunfire, although it is required to kill the bad guys. James Penfold is an ex-cop, who was framed for the shooting of his wife. The police covered it up to save James, but had to discharge him from the force. James is now a renegade, in search for the man who killed his wife, and aiming for REVENGE! The game will include interactive scenery, so you can open doors and use them as shields, along with garbage bins, 2-by-4's and even dead bad guys! There will also be police, who will go after anybody with a weapon, adding the posibilty of three way shoot-outs. There are two weapons in the game, a pistol, and a machine gun, which is mounted in the back of a cadilac. The game should be finished by the end of this year, but for the moment, i have left a VERY early development shot.
