I've put this off long enough.
The Fine Art of Self-Debate.

New book? Or topical acedote? I think the latter.

I debating whether or not to release the BETA version of The Delaware Undead. It's just the first level that I was tinkering with before MBK came up with something better and I competely redone my art style. On the one hand, its good to give something... I mean, what is on the BETA is surely not what going to be on the finished product (some of the graphics are ripped, and its gameplay is horrid.) However, you'll be able to see a glimmer of the charm that will BE in the finished product.

I'm afraid that a false preview can make or break the final outcome of a game (Wind Waker, anyone?) However, if there was some sort of agreement that you're aware your not looking at the future, but you're looking at could have been. Maybe in a perfect eutopia.

In other news, still hard at work - grueling on characters sprites, namely the hand-drawn ones. Buying a scanner this week to make them come alive. Check back soon!
PUBLIC INPUT!

So basically we're still mapping out the gameplay, putting together engines, making sprites and most of all, killing ourselves in a swamp of chores *ugh*... but not to worry... It comes with the territory.

Right now, I've jotting down notes for the game, and we'd like some public input. Basically, we're looking for some fun ideas for weapons to put in the game.

So shoot us some ideas. I have about 5 or 6 slots for some fun weapon ideas. If you come up with one we end up using, you'll definetly get a special thanks in the credits.
Code Stencil
Posted 29th Sep 09, by MBK Post A Comment
Now that I have added slopes in my 2.5d platforming project, it's time for me to get back to work on this ....
I've decided to start on the collisions and battle system before the sprites are actually finished.
I'll just use placeholders and make a sort of code stencil where the graphics can be placed.

Why do I mention this? <shrugs> Why does anyone mention their development process?

1. typing it helps to organise in ones own mind
2. to let those who care, know what is happening
3. attention, feedback, and comments
