I use lightwave 7.5.It is rated the best modeler for everyone and people who make games. It is also very easy to understand the layers and tools of the modeler.I made a 3d tea pot in 5 minutes and all i used was a sphere and two cubes and with the help of the tools. The rendering in lightwave 3d is also very easy. You can use keyframe animating or just use individual frames. I could make a animation of a 3d man in 2 mins.Sorry if i made this too much of a review but this program rocks and it is also very cheap than those uglier, difficult to understand and expensive programs.
Oh my god. This is almost EXACTLY what I did on this website message board called SFGHQ... I made some halarious Sonic models like that and posted them there. and everyone loved. I made Sonic, Knuckles, Eggman and Rouge and I think that was it. I wish I still had those pictures. Good times. But yeas great model. You and I hath much in common. see you arround guy.
InvaderZim, I dunno about Lightwave, but in 3D Studio MAX I could make a teapot in two seconds. It's a default primitive object for some reason. I think the teapot is the standard tester object for 3D stuff. I can't say it's ever come in handy though.
they didn't change it.. that's just some sort of alias they like to use more
