Okay, you know how when you Right-Click a file it will come up:
--------------
Cut
Copy
Delete
Rename
Properties
--------------
e.t.c
if you have winzip it will also have a right-click option like "Zip this file". i was just wondering how would you go about adding your own right-click command?

But with The click Products? i thought there might be some sort of system file youd have to modify or something?. it would be cool if there was an extension that did this.

Theres a popup menu object, I'm not sure if it comes with MMF 1.5, or if it was something I downloaded, but it's available for MMF 1.5 either way. It may be available for its predecessors, I dont know. I'm pretty sure it comes with it out-of-the-box.

to do it on your local computer you open windows explorer then go Tools>Folder Options>File Types. Add your file type, select it, then click Advanced. Click New and you can create a new action for it which will appear on a right-click menu. i used this practically to give myself an option to edit a .wav file in either Nero or Sound Recorder. i think it's stored in the registry... so you'd have to edit it somehow to make the change on someone elses PC.

run regedit, goto HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT in there the first entry should be a *, open it. inside you'll find "shellex", and under that you'll find "ContextMenuHandlers" then simply add an entry there with a class ID corresponding to an entry in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/CLSID/ (ok you might not have understood a thing but whatever, thats the way to do it )
