Why not make it so if people get found spamming they get their postcount permanantly set to 0 (or make it -999 or something) so theyll never get on the list....

I'm good with the random comments! 
Anywaaaaaaaaaay...I think it's an alright thing not to have the top 100 posters there, cause you can tell some people just wanted to get into the top 5.
I reckon if you graphed the posts per day before and after it was put up you'll see an increase for sure!

about geting red of post count to -999 thats pathetic, sorry thats just the way i feel, just tell them off, and if they do do it again then do something like that. People should never be punished for 1st time minor offences.
The top 5 made me bother less, i would never be able to keep up with spiderpostalothead, aa and alebrain. Thats just me though  .

Spam is when you see them go "I agree!" without explaining why more than once in a day 
I agree that if theres top #5 it'd be alright because most wouldnt dream of getting higher, ofcourse myabe it could convince them more by going "Top 5 (of 4,000)"

Yeah, I was top 5 before Spiderhead replaced me. It's not really necessary, if you ask me. Maybe if you have it up the beginning of every month, just to see how many posts you have (or maybe that could be included in the user admin section!)
As for spam, it's mainly posting very little like "yeah" a lot, or as HiredGun did at PK, "buh" on all the posts.

posting shouldn't be a competition. otherwise the boards would just fill up with bullshit. this fuss over the top 100 posters is proof that some people actually care about their post counts. why?
