Hmm... I don't remember Silky, but I missed the old Click Cafe days before the community even existed. Yeah, people were a lot nicer back then. Everyone was just happily helping one another, klikers weren't so darn sensitive, things were all peaceful and happy. Now, most of the best klikers have turned into mega nerds and lamers, all writing and laughing at lame words, fat people, noobs, and hating everyone who even remotely threatens them.
The old DC days had those interactive ratings (those who were around know what I mean). ChrisD was actually part of the old gang. There weren't many idiots going 'roofle', 'goatse' or 'kthxbye'. I'd say times were better.
And yeah, I gotta agree with Spiderhead about the downloads thing. Sure, you admins are protecting the DC from viruses and stuff, but god, the downloads are falling off the list faster than people could see em. You admins may not feel it, but the guys who make the games do. See.. that's another good thing about the old DC: Muz was an admin . Too bad I still don't have time these days. I hate commitments.

I loved the arguements between some noob and Hiredgun and Mohr. Those were the days. The banner was the summer style with Daily Click in yellow. The first news I saw was a preview for The Kliks by C-Media and Sucky Sock had just won GOTW. And Circy's avatar was a bunny close-up. That bunny ruled man!
i like the Daily Click, it has helped me sooooo much on TGF. i would never leave it for another klik website unless it says very bad things about me, mega problems about it or (i doubt it) shut down.
lol even in 2003 everybody was saying that daily click was geting worse! i guess its all nastalga kicking in
when you look around you be very happy that you are alife and that peple love you because you dont know when their going to die and there are lots of peple less fortunite than you who are ding every day in the world and be lucky that you are quiet cleaver so you understand whats going on - James Luke, 2010
We're just never happy, are we?
I joined the community at around 2000,2001 and joined the site not long after. Things seemed pretty good, but then again I was a lot younger and got a lot of smuck for it. I even recall there being one member who had a grudge against me for no reason other than because my age. He said so himself.
I was like "what.. when did downloads come on all at once? When did Shen come back? Oh.. 2003" Yeah, I wish we sort of had the problem back then of downloads falling off the front page faster than people can see them
Nicely played, James Luke.
