I'm in a clickgroup so I usually do games with other people. I often do most of the graphics and have some1 else to code. It helps alot being able to focus on one thing entirely.

Hmm... good idea. You speak with the wisdom beyond that of one with your experience.

You know what your profile things say about the game being far better in your head than it ever will on the screen - that made me laugh, its very astute - You know, i dont own a proper console(just a GBA and Advanced Wars) and but im a complete game theologist.
In the last couple of months since I posted AutoShopRepair and Metal Gear Sold VR, Ive learnt so much about games, from the starting point through development etc - Ive got two games coming, once fairly mixed(see previews) and the other a blooming marvellous racing game -
Have you heard of the 'Denki Method', its the absolute best way to get a game up and running.

I don't finish most of my games, i only finish about 15%. But with every game the coding gets more complex and better. I started out default movement games like everyone else, then moved on making custom movements and map makers. Now i am interested in 360^ movement and I am currently working on a customizable games that you can create your own weapons. Everyone has to start somewhere, even that last game probabley won't get finished.

I sometimes got to a stage in my games where it got to a bit of a chore. But now i have slowed down and i am concentrating on making games that i think are fun . I want to make a matrix game because i have had heaps of images running through my mind about it. And I want to recreate them. Making a matrix game was one of the first things i tryed to do with fusion, i couldn't do the graphics very well but i liked the gameplay. Now i am trying to remake it again and i hope it will be just as i pictured it.

I only keep programming a game if i am enjoying it now. If it's a chore then why program it? I do to many chores already, what with all the homework and crap. Clicking is a hobby for me now, and i think i am gonan take it easy for a while. Nobody really knows what i am working on at the moment because i haven't said much.

Click for the fun

i am always starting projects. after about 15 minites i either get fed up with it or continue with it.
if i continue its because the game is fun to make, i never continue a game if its a chore at the start.

what i do to make the game making more fun is keeping everything simple and when ive experimented with a game for a while and its not boring me, i start to add ideas.

i always make a game as i go along pending too long on coding or drawing gets me bored too so swapping between certain things keeps the game interesting.

Now all I need is a simple game idea to work on that wouldn't be a chore. Everything I work on is sooo... complex. If only I could figure out how to do that conversation engine...

most of my games i never finish. the game im making im not giving up. You will see in my profile i have 4 demos and 1 full game (which is soooo rubbish its untrue (very old game now))
I guess people get bored of the idea or people say bad things about game when making.
