Oh wow. I thought this was a joke, but it turns out that it's genuine. What on earth were they thinking..? If Clickteam ever do something like this I'll probably drink some milk and punch a wall.
geez the guy is amazing. True, some people who were against the new logo went too far, but if 90% of the gamemaker community united against the new logo (regardless of who made it), maybe, just maybe, it's because it actually sucked.

I literally fell down my chair when I saw this, specially knowing his design was last and by far in the official poll (before his logo was announced as the final one).

a great facepalm moment there, assuming he wasn't joking.
The logo itself isn't awful, the problem is it's just plain childish and is far from being appropriate for a game making tool. I don't use game maker, and honestly the logo put me off even more. I would certainly not put a splash screen with that logo in my game, that's for sure.
