I'm really excited about all of the Nintendo stuff! Last year Animal Crossing City Folk was the only good announcement worth while! The new Metroid interest me the most. 2nd place would "Mario $ Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story." The first one was probably my second favorite RPG of all time, possibly even first! Where as Metroid was always my favorite series. And I can't wait to see them finally stray from the Prime. I love the looks of how it'll tie up fusion, (hint hint, who do you think the guy saying "Any objections, Lady?" was?), and I'm pretty sure the orange thing that shoots the beam that Samus summersalts out of the way was Motherbrain's final form from Super Metroid. I beleive I read somewhere, in an interview with Ninja Team, it'll also tie up loose ends from Super Metroid.
My only problem with the new Metroid is that it looks so colorful... Metroid was meant to be a really dark game with an sinister and almost sad feel to it.
But I'm still super excited, (as you can see by my extreme paragraph of doom I just wrote )
One thing i think Nintendo really needs to do is add a hard mode option to zelda games. Just give a second option where bad guys are a bit faster, hurt you more, and take less damage per hit.

Ooooh my yes. It should be a great game. I wasn't keen on Prime 3 because of the story direction, but it looks like they've pulled it off on this (going off the trailer at least).
I thought Prime 3 was great. Other M looks ok, but I liked that Prime was like Nintendo's Halo... a nice FPS. Oh well.
Natal... Natal looks frustrating. They want you to think it's more immersive, but I think it pushes you away from it more. Having a solid object like a wiimote or the PS3 wand of doom seems better to me, like a tether--something to keep you attached and interested. Plus, how many times do you think it will misread one of those page turning gestures? Or maybe hear the wrong command? And the huge sweeping gestures look tiring. They overhype it, and I can just TELL it's one of those things that everyone thinks is revolutionary but is nowhere near as good or developed as it looks. Kinda like the wiimote, but now we're getting that 1:1 at least. I've read a lot of comments where everyone thinks the holodeck has arrived. They forget that these things are never as good as they look.
Ah well, I just think Natal will be a giant glazed-over disappointment. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'll be glad if I am.
I have doubts about Other M, I hope it doesn't get completely bound by story and forgets the exploration. I also hope it doesn't play like recent action games where in boss fights it prompts you to press buttons as you watch a movie of your character defeating them, argh!!!
maybe I'm just too old now. Back when the old zelda games were done in what was effectively the western style of graphics, whereas now its re-japanifying, the whole anime effect on everything.
Wow! You've never played the Oracle games then
Oracle of Ages and Seasons came out around the same time as Ocarina of Time, or at least like a year or two later.
Take a look at the character concepts though:
I don't think you find a Zelda more anime than that
I'm with you on LTTP being great and all, it was my first Zelda. But I beleive Zelda is still Zelda after all this time.
