Okay, so this never used to happen, but for whatever reason now, everytime I test my projects and leave, the workspace toolbar and the properties menu decide to move so that they each have their own column and take up so much room and each time I have to re-dock them on top of each other. I didn't make any resolution changes to my project and it just ticks me off, especially since I have to test something like 10 times to make sure the code I put in doesn't screw up stuff. Anyone else come across this problem?

Huh? It's just you, clickteam's software has NEVER malfunctioned, and hasn't been in the least bit annoying.

Nope, never had this problem.

The default settings are stored in the file "tbdef.tbs". Try setting everything up how you like it, then exporting your settings (right-click the top of the workspace dialog). Then replace tbdef.tbs with the file you just created. Might work..?

Other Suggestions:

Open up the preferences dialog, and click workspace tab. If "save dialog boxes size & positions" is not ticked, then tick it, and see if it works.
If it *is* ticked then try un-ticking it, then restart MMF, and then re-tick it, and then see if it works.

Failing that try reinstalling MMF, if it really bothers you that much.

Well, the workspace helps for moving items back and forth through different frames, and with in concordance with the properties menu it makes it easier to edit values and qualifiers and just anything else while in the events editor and keeps me from going back and forth through the event editor and frame editor. I could just write everything down in a notepad, which is what I normally do when I work with arrays, but I'd rather just save a step and use the built-in interface for alterable values.

But I think what sketchy said did the trick, I unticked it, ticked it then restarted MMF. It usually jumps out occasionally so I'll problably know for sure when get to work a bit later. Thanks for the help guys.

I despise this glitch. I'm constantly rearranging my toolbar and various workspace areas as they shift around on their own. I constantly request that Yves and Francois add a 'lock' button so you can lock toolbars (because to be honest, who needs to move them anyway? But they always refuse

I have this problem as well. I didn't always have it, until my brother decided to close one of them. From then on, they always start out side by side, and I hate it.

Try resetting the toolbar positions both when the MMF2 window is maximized and normal. Works for me.
