Just a quick post before I head to lectures..
How about a system where people can say whether a post/comment is offensive - and if it receives a certain number of complaints that post is hidden/made invisible (but there can be a link to show the post to complete continuity of the thread). They do this on digg.com and it works pretty well, though it's obviously open to abuse and doesn't really solve the issue of insulting users .etc (though it might make them think twice about doing it again).

This is a signature. Have this one on me.

Clubsoft or flava:

Is it possible for you guys to code a feature that would allow a user to block another user from seeing him/her including forum posts. This would solve soooo many problems that are going on right now. Is this possible?

BAAAD idea.

How about a feature where I can embed links into a different text when typing things out? Like, instead of pasting in the link and the link becomes clickable, like so:

http://www.create-games.com

I could type the words The Daily Click and clicking on those words sends me to the same link.
<link>"http://www.create-games.com" The Daily Click</link>

Or however it is that the admins do it in news posts. Because no one has told me how they do that. Put it in a link tag on the toolbar.

Not a bad idea either although i prefer Rikus' idea because everyone else wont have to click on loads of buttons or tabs or whatever to read all the posts.

Lol, Flava, I find it easier just to delete the post and all related to it, then if the original poster felt it was important, he'd repost it, but in a nicer way.

I'd actually use the ignore feature. Works nicely on mIRC. Just as long as it doesn't block downloads, PMs by that member.
