Added favouriting.. you like the look of it, favourite it.. numbers go up, big numbers mean its more popular, and thus worth looking at.... in theory, atleast

Yeah, there should be better possibilities for serious project updaters to have their project point out from the less serious projects. The project list is really brief, which has a bad effect both on project owners and the people potentially interested in the project.

The project list should (at least) contain:

Project name. Maybe have the text in another color if its updated since last visit. If that appears too ugly, maybe have a lighted star like in the forums.
Genre, and the ability to browse selected genres.
Small screenshot(s). Maybe have new screenshots outlined in yellow or something.

A really cool feature would be to be informed when a favored project is updated. Perhaps a little text in "My Daily Click" under rating? *Favored project updated*, as a link. or something, just brainstorming here.

The lack of interest of the project pages is not the fault of Daily Click culture and customs. Rather due to an ineffective project list, making it impossible to distinguish an interesting project without manually clicking all of it through. Decisions now are made on project name and progress. Not very revealing
The current favorite rating system is a nice thought, but doesn't work in reality when clickers doesn't use it. The project information should come from the project owners and not from the viewers!

Alien Invasion. Going forward!
