Depends on how you look at it. This used to be a nice community about click. Now it's a place full of gay babies and really weird admins. I don't have any problem with it myself.
Yes yes, and I love you for it, but I was actually talking about 2002/2003 but then again we had SHADOWCASTER back then who was like mega weird. He would delete topics and then delete all the witnesses.
I think it has something to do with low standards. Back then we had games like Shima bros that everybody liked while there's not that much to it, just a fun little game. It was good to know you could do fun little games and be ok. Now you can't get away with fun little stuff and you have to go all complicated to be even noticed, so most people abandon all their shit now because it's too much or get bashed when they still try to release fun little games. So they were good old days because it was simple and because of Shadowcasters GREAT sense of humour.
Well we can try and hassle ShadowCaster so that he'll come back?
To be honest, what I thought made this community great was the fact that people could make games whether good or bad and they'd receive constructive criticism for them.
I remember when I was a noob and I made crappy games, people would help me out and generally be nice to me.
Now we have people creating fake accounts and insulting each other on the forums, creating random crappy games and applications and not giving the new people constructive criticism. I just generally think the community has gotten full of people with their heads up their butts, who'd rather go around and humiliate or annoy people rather than make games. That's my view anyway. Obviously that's led to people abandoning games, like you said.
