if I used a Freebie web host, and uploaded a click online game to it,

would it run as a server or would i have to start messing with my pc to be a server too..

Free web hosts won't let you run a server application. And a vitalize app won't work either, you'd need to use your own or a dedicated server.

There's a paid MooAPI hosting service in the works, available within about a month. You'll be able to upload lua scripts to handle all server side logic. It's MooGame and MooClick compatible, but has no support for server side files or UDP. However, file transfer from client to server is a bad idea, and with database support as part of the package, you won't need it anyway. Check out www.mooapi.com .

Very nice, though it might inspire some undeserving games to start charging which would be a major turn off. Never the less though, I think that it's a fantastic idea for them to have a service specially for their Moo extensions, even if it does inspire some undesired side effects. (Hundreds more wannabe MMO designers.)
