You'll probably get to 21/22 seconds Ben knowing iMac's. I'm on 14.2 now, and that's enough for me before I brake something

So I ran it on a studio Mac Pro at uni with dual 3ghz C2D, 8gb RAM (though XP only handles up to 4gb RAM).
11 seconds.
Bastards.

I only have a single Core2Duo :*(

@Jimmi: Wait until the Mac Pros use Clovertowns rather than Woodcrests.

My own computer ran it in just over a minute - not bad for a 3 year old computer.

55 secs on my 1.6 GHz laptop with 894 (weird number lol) MB RAM. Not too shabby.

Now to use the program in MS-DOS! Fastest speeds!

My (almost) 3 year old laptop has a 3ghz P4. Unless you mean newer CPUs?

Probably... Which sucks because I'd LOVE to be able to take my computer around the house with it being crazy fast etc. I'd even give up my watercooling Though then it'd be too unstable to overclock :\ It's a shame they don't make mega fast laptops (usually) anyway.

I take my iMac around the house, it's like 4cm thin. with bluetooth K&M I just have to carry around the power lead as its all enclosed. Even still the new MacBook Pros are running 2.33ghz C2D. Just a crying shame they only support 3gb of RAM.

On the road video editing, desktop replacement computer, portable render farm, ability to boot OS from memory (good for laptops), Xgrid, Photoshop, proper digital photography. etc etc.

Crysis

You need at least 4gb RAM to edit HD footage as smooth as 1gb edits SD footage.

It's generally more to do with the timings of your RAM rather than the amount.
