Hello.

I'm test-driving MMF2 before I get it, and I'm confused as to how to do parallex scrolling.

Layers with a co-efficient of less then 1 will 'lag behind' or move slower then layers with 1 (backgrounds). Layers above 1 will move faster then a layer then 1(foregrounds).

Obviously the co-efficient for X means that it will scroll faster/slower on the X axis, and Y is the Y axis.
You can also use the layer-object to do various things like position the layers, which lets you do parallax the traditional way like in MMF 1.5 if you wanted to do that.

@ Radix.

Do you think I'd use BitTorrent to get MMF2? I've ordered it from Amazon.com....

By the way, what the hell did they do to the MMF picture editor?! The new one is kinda suckish.

I really like the new picture editor, I just don't like how it's missing more then half of the zoom levels. There's no happy medium for each zoom level now.

Okay, in the 'help' section, it goes on about 'Virtual Width', which is supposed to be located in the Frame Properties. I can't find any option about 'Virtual Width'. The options I get are:

BORDER:
Color
Width

FILL:
Type
Motif
Intergral Dimensions

INK EFFECT

POSITION (in the help it says this has nothing to do with Virtual Width)

SIZE

ROTATION

I'm sorry for my stoopid/boobism.

Just click the frame once in the storyboard editor. Then look in the properties that pop up on the left. It SHOULD have virtual width/height right underneath width/height.

Fast Loop is built into MMF2, is it not? Or is the Fast Loop object something that takes Fast Looping to the extreme?
