"Why is it that anyone that uses the word fucktard seems to both say "fuck" a lot and be socially retarded?"
American, eh? They're about the only people having problems with "The F-word". Hell, there are way worse words out there!

"I was just pointing out a problem I was having with MMF on my hardware. Just because your configuration has not brought about that bug does not mean other people's configurations do not. Good software works on as many different configurations as possible. I bought MMF2 in the hope that I can get rid of all the niggling bugs(also, the "New object sticks to screen" bug)."
For as far as I've seen I've only seen you have this bug, hmm... Anyway, why didn't you go to the Clickteam forums and post about it when you got MMF?

Those examples were made with MMF 1.5.

Really? The games were accompanied by .mfa files which can't be opened with MMF 1.5., so i'm assuming they were either made with TGF2 or MMF2. At least, that's how my copy of the CD was...

They were made in MMF 1.5, then opened and fixed (or not) and saved in the MMF2 format, obviously.

You can open any old game, and then re-save it in MMF2, and it wont open in the older programs anymore.

As far as MMF 1.5 being to unstable, that's not true. It's very unstable compared to MMF2, yes, but there's absolutly nothing wrong with it, if you work with it. I've used MMF 1.5 for years and have had problems, but nothing I couldn't get around if I put a lot of thought into what I was making. So saying that MMF 1.5 is to unstable is bullshit.

I find the main reasons to get MMF2 is not so much stability unless you plan to use things you couldn't do in MMF 1.5, or at least without a lot more work involved. MMF2 not only makes things like parallax easier, but it makes it much more reasonable. And I know a lot of you MMF 1.5 users are going to say "well you can do parallax in MMF 1.5, what's the big deal?". MMF2, because of layers, allows you to use backdrops/quick backdrops for parallax layers now, which boosts the performance rate up by a very long shot, especially in higher resolution games.

There are a lot of reasons to get MMF2, but unless you plan to PUSH the program and find out what it's really able to do, and correctly then you will not have problems with stability.

PS: The only times I truly had any issues with MMF 1.5 stability wise (crashing GAMES, the actual MMF program crashed every so often without control), was when I was trying to use EXTENSIONS or when I actually did something stupid, like try to execute thousands of fast loops in a millisecond. MMF 1.5 is NOT really unstable, it's just incredibly slow when it comes to good special effects.

Wouldn't you consider "crashing every so often without control" a mark of instability?

The MMF 1.5 PROGRAM itself is instable, but it's plenty stable to work with. What I was concerning as not being unstable is the actual runtime. The MMF 1.5 runtime is just very slow, but it has very few problems with stability.
